These places are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. Dry avalanches can additionally in isolated cases be released in the old snowpack also, this applies in particular in case of a large load. Caution is to be exercised in particular on extremely steep shady slopes between approximately 2200 and 2600 m at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack. Especially in the Central Stubai Alps avalanche prone locations are more widespread and the danger is greater. Moderate danger of gliding avalanches will persist. This applies on steep grassy slopes below approximately 2400 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided.</avActivityComment>
