As a consequence of fresh snow and a moderate wind from northwesterly directions, mostly small wind slabs formed since Friday, 1 March especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. The fresh wind slabs can be released in isolated cases in particular on very steep northwest, north and northeast facing slopes, especially in places that are protected from the wind above approximately 2400 m.
