<avActivityHighlights> Fresh wind slabs require caution.</avActivityHighlights>
<avActivityComment> The fresh wind slabs must be evaluated with care and prudence in all aspects above the tree line. They are mostly easy to recognise but can be released easily. In the regions exposed to heavier precipitation caution is to be exercised in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. At high altitudes and in high Alpine regions avalanche prone locations are more prevalent. As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation individual gliding avalanches are possible, but they can reach medium size, especially at the base of rock walls and on steep grassy slopes below approximately 2400 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided as far as possible.</avActivityComment>
<snowpackStructureComment> The wind has transported only a little snow. The fresh wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. These are lying on soft layers in particular on shady slopes above the tree line. The older wind slabs have bonded quite well with the old snowpack. <br/> The old snowpack will be moist below the tree line.</snowpackStructureComment>
<tendencyComment> Moderate, level 2. Temporary increase in danger of gliding avalanches and snow slides as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation.</tendencyComment>

<avActivityHighlights> Wind slabs above approximately 2400 m. Gliding avalanches and snow slides require caution.</avActivityHighlights>
<avActivityComment> The somewhat older wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads, especially on northwest to north to northeast facing aspects above approximately 2400 m. These are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls. Avalanches are rather small. In places that are protected from the wind the situation is more favourable. <br/> Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided as far as possible.</avActivityComment>
<snowpackStructureComment> Over a wide area various wind slab layers are lying on a hard crust. These have bonded well with the old snowpack. The wind slabs are mostly small. The old snowpack will be moist below the tree line.</snowpackStructureComment>

<avActivityComment> Thus far only a little snow is lying.
