          <avActivityHighlights> Fresh wind slabs represent the main danger.</avActivityHighlights>
          <avActivityComment> As a consequence of fresh snow and a moderate to strong northwesterly wind, avalanche prone wind slabs will form above the tree line. They can be released even by a single winter sport participant. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls in northwest to north to east facing aspects. At elevated altitudes the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent. In the regions neighbouring those that are subject to danger level 3 (considerable) and in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation the avalanche danger is higher.</avActivityComment>
          <snowpackStructureComment> The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. The wind slabs of the last few days have bonded well with the old snowpack in all aspects. Over a wide area 10 to 20 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall. The sometimes strong wind will transport the fresh snow. As the day progresses brittle wind slabs will form especially in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation.</snowpackStructureComment>
