<avalancheActivityHighlights>Loose snow avalanches are to be expected. Fresh wind slabs require caution.</avalancheActivityHighlights>
<avalancheActivityComment>In the regions exposed to heavier precipitation numerous small to medium-sized loose snow avalanches are to be expected above approximately 2200 m, in the event of prolonged bright spells especially on extremely steep slopes. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls. <br/> <br/> As a consequence of new snow and a moderate to strong southwesterly wind, mostly small wind slabs formed in particular in high Alpine regions. The fresh wind slabs are in some cases prone to triggering, in particular on steep shady slopes. The avalanche prone locations are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas above approximately 2800 m. They are to be avoided in very steep terrain.</avalancheActivityComment>
<snowpackStructureComment>Over a wide area 10 to 30 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen since Saturday. The fresh snow and the mostly small wind slabs formed during the snowfall are lying on soft layers in particular on steep shady slopes. These are in some cases still prone to triggering at elevated altitudes. <br/> The weather effects will bring about a weakening of the near-surface layers as the day progresses. <br/> The old snowpack will be in most cases stable. In all regions only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year. At low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.</snowpackStructureComment>
<tendencyComment>Some snow will fall. The avalanche danger will persist.</tendencyComment>

<avalancheActivityHighlights>Fresh wind slabs require caution. Wet snow requires caution.</avalancheActivityHighlights>
<avalancheActivityComment>As a consequence of new snow and a strong southwesterly wind, mostly small wind slabs formed at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions. The fresh wind slabs are in some cases prone to triggering. Avalanches can be released by small loads and reach medium size, in particular on steep shady slopes, as well as adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. They are to be avoided as far as possible. At elevated altitudes the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent. In the regions with a lot of snow small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized wet loose snow avalanches are possible above approximately 2000 m.</avalancheActivityComment>
<snowpackStructureComment>On Monday it will be partly cloudy. The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust only at high altitudes. In all regions rain fell up to 1500 m. As a consequence of snowfall above approximately 1500 m and the strong southwesterly wind, fresh snow drift accumulations formed. These are mostly only small. The spring-like weather conditions will give rise to rapid softening of the snowpack. This applies in particular below approximately 2400 m. <br/> At low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.</snowpackStructureComment>
<tendencyComment>Fresh wind slabs represent the main danger.</tendencyComment>

<avalancheActivityHighlights>Low avalanche danger will prevail.</avalancheActivityHighlights>
<avalancheActivityComment>Fresh wind slabs are small and can only be released in isolated cases. Individual avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found on steep shady slopes above approximately 2600 m. <br/> Individual small moist loose snow avalanches are possible. In the event of prolonged bright spells this applies on extremely steep slopes.</avalancheActivityComment>
<snowpackStructureComment>Some snow has fallen since Saturday in some regions. The sometimes strong wind has transported only a little snow. The mostly small wind slabs have bonded quite well with the old snowpack. The snowpack will be in most cases stable. From a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying.</snowpackStructureComment>
