These avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example and on wind-loaded slopes. The new snow and wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases. In particular above the tree line these avalanche prone locations are more widespread.</comment>
