The prevalence of avalanche prone locations and likelihood of triggering will increase with altitude. <br/> Medium-sized natural avalanches are possible especially in the regions exposed to heavier precipitation. This applies in particular on very steep shady slopes adjacent to ridgelines at elevated altitudes. <br/> <br/> More frequent loose snow avalanches are to be expected, even medium-sized ones, in the event of prolonged bright spells especially. <br/> <br/> In addition a latent danger of gliding avalanches exists. This applies on steep grassy slopes below approximately 2600 m. Mostly avalanches are medium-sized. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided. <br/> <br/> Backcountry touring calls for experience and a certain restraint."
