At high altitude and in high Alpine regions the likelihood of avalanches is higher. <br/> <br/> As a consequence of warming individual gliding avalanches are possible, especially on very steep sunny slopes below approximately 2200 m. In the south the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent. Mostly avalanches are medium-sized. The avalanche prone locations are difficult to recognise. <br/> <br/> In addition further small to medium-sized loose snow avalanches are possible. This applies in steep rocky terrain in all aspects, in the event of prolonged bright spells especially. <br/> <br/> Individual gliding avalanches are possible. This applies on steep grassy slopes below approximately 2600 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided."
