<comment>Some small to medium-sized loose snow avalanches are possible, especially on very steep sunny slopes.

The mostly small wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads, above the tree line, caution is to be exercised in particular adjacent to ridgelines, as well as at the base of rock walls and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. At high altitude and in high Alpine regions the likelihood of avalanches is higher.

As a consequence of warming individual gliding avalanches are possible, especially on very steep sunny slopes below approximately 2200 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided.</comment>

<highlights>Weak layers in the upper part of the snowpack represent the main danger. More loose snow avalanches are possible.</highlights>
<comment>Weak layers in the upper part of the snowpack can be released in isolated cases by winter sport participants. Caution is to be exercised in particular on very steep shady slopes between approximately 2200 and 2800 m, as well as on very steep sunny slopes above approximately 2200 m. In the south the avalanche prone locations are more prevalent. Mostly avalanches are medium-sized. The avalanche prone locations are difficult to recognise.

In addition further small to medium-sized loose snow avalanches are possible. This applies in steep rocky terrain in all aspects, in the event of prolonged bright spells especially.

Individual gliding avalanches are possible. This applies on steep grassy slopes below approximately 2600 m. Areas with glide cracks are to be avoided.</comment>

<comment>At the interface between the old snow surface and the new snow of the past week, occasionally a faceted weak layer developed. This applies above approximately 2200 m. The old snowpack will be stable.</comment>
