<highlights>Wind slabs and weakly bonded old snow require caution.</highlights>
      <comment>The no longer entirely fresh wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in some cases in particular on west to north to east facing aspects. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in all aspects above approximately 2200 m. This also applies in isolated cases on steep sunny slopes at elevated altitudes.
Avalanches can additionally in some places be released in the weakly bonded old snow. Avalanches can in very isolated cases release deeper layers of the snowpack and reach medium size.
These avalanche prone locations are to be found especially on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2200 m, caution is to be exercised in particular at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example.</comment>

    <snowpackStructure>
      <comment>As a consequence of a sometimes strong wind, mostly small wind slabs formed in all regions. The older wind slabs are lying on soft layers in particular on west to north to east facing aspects.
Precarious weak layers exist deep in the old snowpack especially on shady slopes.
</comment>

      <highlights>Fresh wind slabs require caution.</highlights>
      <comment>Avalanches can still in isolated cases be released by a single winter sport participant, in particular on shady slopes above approximately 2200 m. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. They are rather rare and are easy to recognise. Mostly avalanches are rather small. Apart from the danger of being buried, restraint should be exercised as well in view of the danger of avalanches sweeping people along and giving rise to falls.</comment>
