These can still be released in some cases in particular on very steep shady slopes above approximately 2200 m. The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular in gullies and bowls, and behind abrupt changes in the terrain. The wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls. &lt;br/&gt; Avalanches can in very isolated cases penetrate near-ground layers of the snowpack and reach medium size. This applies in particular south of the Inn.</avActivityComment>
          <snowpackStructureComment>As a consequence of a sometimes strong wind from southerly directions, mostly small wind slabs formed since Saturday, in particular in the regions exposed to the foehn wind. The wind slabs are in some cases still prone to triggering on steep shady slopes at elevated altitudes. &lt;br/&gt; &lt;br/&gt; Only a small amount of snow is lying for the time of year. The snowpack will be subject to considerable local variations. &lt;br/&gt; Shady slopes: The snowpack consists of faceted crystals.
