<highlights>The new snow and wind slabs must be evaluated with care and prudence. Weak layers deep in the old snowpack necessitate caution and restraint.</highlights>
<comment>The fresh snow and the wind slabs that are forming in particular adjacent to ridgelines must be evaluated with care and prudence in particular on steep shady slopes above approximately 2200 m. Winter sport participants can release avalanches in isolated cases, including medium-sized ones. Avalanches can in isolated cases penetrate deep layers and reach quite a large size. Weak layers in the old snowpack are difficult to recognise. The avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on steep west, north and east facing slopes above the tree line.</comment>
</avalancheActivity>
<snowpackStructure>
<comment>In some regions in some localities up to 20 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall. The wind slabs will be deposited on a weakly bonded old snowpack in particular on west to north to east facing aspects above the tree line. Above the tree line snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. <br/> The new snow is bonding only slowly with the old snowpack. Shady slopes where weaknesses exist in the old snowpack are dangerous. <br/> As a consequence of mild temperatures and solar radiation the snowpack consolidated during the last few days, especially on sunny slopes and at intermediate altitudes. <br/></comment>

<highlights>Avalanches can in isolated cases be released in the old snowpack. Fresh wind slabs at high altitude.</highlights>
<comment>Weak layers in the old snowpack can still be released in isolated cases by winter sport participants in particular in little used terrain. Such avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on very steep west, north and east facing slopes above approximately 2200 m. Caution is to be exercised in particular in areas where the snow cover is rather shallow, as well as at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example. The avalanche prone locations are barely recognisable, even to the trained eye. Mostly the avalanches are medium-sized. <br/> As a consequence of a moderate to strong wind from southerly directions, rather small wind slabs will form, especially on near-ridge shady slopes at high altitudes and in high Alpine regions. Restraint should be exercised because avalanches can sweep people along and give rise to falls.</comment>

<comment>Winter sport participants can release avalanches in isolated cases, with a large load in most cases. Avalanches can in very isolated cases penetrate deep layers and reach medium size. The fresh snow and the wind slabs that are forming in particular adjacent to ridgelines must be evaluated with care and prudence in particular on steep shady slopes and at high altitude. The avalanche prone locations for dry avalanches are to be found in particular on steep west, north and east facing slopes above the tree line.</comment>

<comment>Above the tree line snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. <br/> In some regions in some localities up to 10 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, will fall. The new snow is bonding only slowly with the old snowpack. The wind slabs are lying on top of a weakly bonded old snowpack in particular on west to north to east facing aspects above the tree line. Shady slopes where weaknesses exist in the old snowpack are dangerous. <br/> As a consequence of mild temperatures and solar radiation the snowpack consolidated during the last few days.
