          <wxSynopsisComment>On 1 May, once again beautiful mountain weather. Until midday, skies will be predominantly cloudless. In the latter part of the day, convective cloud build-up is anticipated, but most summits will remain in the clear and only isolated showers are expected.           <avActivityHighlights>Wet snow is the main danger</avActivityHighlights>
          <avActivityComment>Due to daytime warming and solar radiation, likelihood of wet-snow avalanches triggering will increase. Below 3000m mostly small releases are possible, esp. on very steep slopes and at the foot of rock walls.</avActivityComment>
          <snowpackStructureComment>Nocturnal outgoing longwave radiation is quite good, the snowpack surface freezes enough to be capable of bearing loads. Acute danger of falling on the hardened crusts in steep terrain. The snowpack is thoroughly wet, esp. on shady slopes below 2800m and on sunny slopes also in high-alpine terrain. In all regions, too little snow on the ground. Hohe Tauern: below 2200m hardly any snow. Carnic Alps: below 1800m, hardly any snow on the ground.</snowpackStructureComment>
